Another little addition to Janel's post...

While the Williams and Woodburys are downing the blocks of cheese, we Tittelfitzes just carb load.

Good bye prickly tree

Our house got a face lift while I was at work! Bryce is working on the landscaping but I never imagined the thorny tree to be cut down when I got off work at 10pm. Say good-bye to the desert in our front yard, we will soon be putting in grass! p.s. anyone want some rocks?

Just a little addition to Janel's post

If I were staying with Janel, the cheese would be safe unless it were grated and there were some nearby food storage buckets for hiding behind. If Jacob were staying with Janel, on the other hand, your cheese might look like this:

It's been known to happen. Multiple times.

Hiss, I've been robbed

A week and a half ago I bought a 10 pound block of cheese from Sam's Club. Last night Mark opened up the fridge and asked what happened to our cheese. In 9 short days, 10 pounds turned into 1. I wish my bathroom scale worked like that, too.

If I didn't know better, I'd think Danielle might be staying with us.

But an honest evaluation requires that a lot of the glory goes to Lily. She loves her dairy. And her sweets. And anything that doesn't remotely resemble something nutritious.
But who can resist this face?

No interesting title, but some good pictures

Yesterday Jordan and Rich and Mark built shelves for our garage. Don't they look awesome?!? (The boys and the shelves, I mean.)
Rich was repaying the favor I did for him of cutting his hair. Ha ha. Actually I had to beg to be able to cut it, and being the gentleman that he is, he obliged.
Watch out, USU ladies.

I'm sad this picture is a little blurry, but I had to take a picture of Micah walking. When he was learning to walk he always wanted to hold Becca's right hand for support. If she gave him her left hand fingers, he would push them away and take her right hand! Now that he walks by himself he still always holds up his right hand, as if he were holding Becca's hand. It is so cute. And you should see him charge after Becca if she sets him down and dashes away for a moment's peace. He loves his mama. And, while I'm rambling about Micah, who is almost the birthday boy, so I guess he deserves all this attention, can you please take a look at those chunker thighs?
Becca left a stamped letter in our mailbox and Eliza thought it was for her, so she ripped into it. I figured that since it was already opened, we might as well take a picture of the super cute card Becca made. Thanks to Gmo for the Christmas Cricut!

Lily would trot around outside all day if she could. (As for Sage and Eliza, I had to put "exercise" on their job chart, because they would stay inside and color all day if they could.) Lily never wants to come in, even when her hands are freezing. This morning I opened the back door for something and she charged right out into the snow in her PJs. I didn't have shoes on so Sage and I were trying to coax her back in from inside but it did NOT work.

For a long time Sage had three goals: to learn how to snap, whistle, and tie her shoes. Now, with snapping down, Sage is certain that she has learned how to tie--a process that involves twisting the ribbons on my curtains into complicated messes that actually hold! When Becca was here yesterday, Sage asked for Becca to take her to her swimming lessons and be her "helper" and for me to go home. She was very proud of the special hairdo Becca gave her and I overheard her telling her friends about her "aunt named Becca with yellow hair" who gave her "this cool hairdo."
And, speaking of hairdos by Becca, does anyone have any pictures of Heather's concerto aria?

Sneak Peek

Many of you are probably wondering what General Conference is like at the Wilson household. Well, let me show you a peek from the past...

Mom and Dad, will we be having a replay in April?

January picture fest

Here are a bunch of completely unrelated pictures that make me laugh.

Thanks for the fun socks, Grandma!

And thanks for cutting Sage's hair, Grandma. Here is the BEFORE shot: (I hope I remember to take this down before Sage is 16 and her high school friends find this.)
And the AFTER shot. WOW!

Thanks to Rich for his little gift. Try explaining to a 5-year-old what "Maybe I'm not the hero. Maybe I'm the bad guy" means.
Happy, messy eater (if it's not zucchini casserole). Also occasionally referred to as Bucky.

Sage's Christmas gift to me: spice labels. I LOVE it.

Sage has been designing costumes and inventing things this past month. Here is her adorable mermaid costume. (You should have seen the swords and shields she made for herself and Eliza to use when they dance to the Nutcracker Suite...particularly the mice/nutcracker fight song.)
Cheetos were Lily's favorite thing on Christmas. She kept drifting back to the kitchen to get at this stash. Who needs gifts when you just have unlimited access to Cheetos?

I was pretty proud of this sign that I put up after the kids went to bed on Christmas Eve. I knew Dad would have approved. And, for the record, Sage came in at "seven zero zero" to wake us up.

This picture of Eliza being a "mermaid" made me think of the time Mark bought Becca a pair of Notre Dame pants that were just a size or two (or three) too big.

"But my socks are getting wet...but they're wet." (I wish I had a pic of Suzy bobbing for apples and socks.)

Siting of the elusive mystery baby

Anyone seen the baby? Well, I guess we should all just play the piano as loud as we can (although Jacob has been known to pull the cover on your hands if he wants you to stop).

Aha! The baby has emerged. Our first siting! And she is not happy because, where's the milk???

Aw, forget the milk. Cindy and Amy want to go to the park--baby or no baby. As long as someone brings along a sippee cup.

Amy struck the jackpot. She is actually trying to climb into the crib with little Rebecca so she can kiss the baby's head.

Can you blame Amy for wanting to kiss that cute little munchkin?

From the mailbox

Thanks for being such a supportive cousin, Micah.

(After getting Micah's letter, Sage decided to make Eliza a card and leave it in the mailbox... "since she never gets mail." : )
