Speaking of sweet poses...

I guess our travels brought out the model in Jordan--who knew I married a camel look-alike & discus impersonator?

Well, it looks like we've also got some other models in the family...
nice one, Lily.

Camelfitz

I've been working to compile and organize everyone's Israel pictures and couldn't help but notice this one. How did Mom and Dad know, when they named their 5th daughter, that she would take after her Biblical namesake so well? Not everyone looks good sitting on and lighting off a camel. And the fact that I'm failing to post my own camel photo shoot is proof of that.

These next two are possibly the funniest shots in the entire batch of Israel pics. (I'm talking like 1800 pics.)

Perhaps if construction management doesn't work out for the T's, they can try being Bedouins?

Copy cat Jumper

I was all inspired by Krista's post about Amy and the Johnny Jump Up, so I got myself one on Craigslist today. Lily liked it. A little. But the one that like it the most (and who I'll definitely get my money's worth on) was Eliza, who is also within the weight limit of the Jumper. I guess that's fitting, because Eliza's been insisting that we call her Cindy all morning. And just for the record, I'm Danielle.
P.S. Lily liked lying on the floor and watching Eliza go to town, so it's pretty much the best purchase squared.
P.S. No correcting my math, Bryce.

Paragonah Partying

Several friends asked me what we were going to do/did in our Paragonah trip. I wasn't sure how to answer, but I think the fact that we brought three big coolers for 48 hours may convey our intentions to eat well! From Krista's hawaiian haystacks to the Woodbury's taco salad to Becca's birthday treats (pumpkin custard, rice pudding, and Rich's brownies), and even a stop by Paragonah's local joint, we were dining well.
(Oh, and maybe I made some tasty London broil. Once it finally got done around 8:30pm. Sheesh.)

What's a little family get together without some ultimate?
We got to meet Vella. She was very kind to the kids. And she even got Rich to buy a new belt and some shoes. Wow!
And Jacob's always good for a laugh.
Good thing he can sleep anywhere (even with his head under a sheet) because we had 5 kids and 5 adults in one bedroom and 3 adults and 2 kids in the other. And then the Tittelfitzes lucked out in the last. But that's because it was Becca's birthday. And because Micah is such a little nighttime nipper.
And we certainly enjoyed Paragonah's main attraction--the playground, right across from the one room "Paragonah Business Center." It's by the field covered in dog poo (just ask Krista). You can't miss it. Especially with Jordan and Rich doing crazy moves like this.
And with "trains" going down the double slide.
And with that merry-go-round.The swings (it sure beats holding up those chunkers):

There's always the wildlife, safely viewed from behind the protective shield of another preschooler.
We had to conclude our Paragonah weekend with a picture of the grandkids for Mom and Dad. And if you think this picture was easy to take, guess again (see below).

These guys were more photogenic.

Thanks so much to Adam's family for letting us stay there.
And sorry that one of my kids brought home a princess figurine they found between the couch cushions.
I guess we'll just have to plan another get together in Paragonah to return it. : )

Happy Birthday, Becca.

Hey everyone, this is Rich. I know I swore I would never write a blog as long as the sun is still producing heat, but since I am hacking into the account to do this, I think it qualifies more as a black op, so here goes.

Here are some pictures of Becca that are fairly choice.

Because you can just never have a big enough icicle

Sometimes a caption isn't really necessary

Because no one is easier to steal cheese fries from

There's not much a demolition derby won't fix

I never got a candy necklace...so lucky :)

Go Cougs!

Let's go cougs! This was at the game with Airforce.

Had to take 2 pics so you could see the pants Becca and I made.

FHE memory

Remember when we used to play "boola boola" for FHE?

Micah's first post

Hi Danielle.
Don't worry about your hair
Bad haircuts, like coneheads, are short-lived.

See!
Love, Micah

How to cope with a bad haircut

1. Smile and live it up

2. Zoom in on the eyes

3. Go boating--people will think it's just wind blown

4. Get some new teeth

5. Hold a lot of kids all at once--no one will even look at you

6. Try and block all photos

7. Put a big bow on your head--make sure the bow is at least as big as your head

8. Make choice facial expressions

9. Wear a hat

10. Get a fohawk

11. Sit in the pillbug chair and just laugh

12. Go naked. You could be bald and people wouldn't notice

13. Hi boys! A side pony always helps

14. Or just bare your teeth. Notice Rich using the hat technique in back.

15. Does she even have hair?

16. Scream really loud

17. Wear a sweatband

18. Just think, it could always be worse...
