There are some perks to scanning the family journals. Such as being the first in many years to see these gems:

He was still hungry
While Becca went running one day in Vegas, Mom and I fed him some food. And he kept eating and eating! Or, in other words, "he was still hungry."

On Monday he ate one can of peanuts, but he was still hungry.

On Tuesday he ate two carrots. But he was still hungry.

On Wednesday he ate three string cheeses. But he was still hungry.

On Thursday he ate four apples. But he was still hungry.

On Friday he ate five chocolate cupcakes. But he was still hungry.
On Saturday he didn't fit into his Halloween costume! But he was still cute.

Marathon trip (and post)
We had a great trip to Las Vegas and Mesa last month, but I never got around to posting a few pictures.
One of the first events of the first hour of the first day of our first (of many) car trips was Eliza was banished to the back seat by herself. She happily licked that sucker for about an hour!
Here's another classic view. The middle seat was reserved for the babies, who did so well. (Not pictured: the back seat which doubled as a traveling bed for the most tired. It was awesome!)
When we got to Las Vegas, there was much rejoicing. One of the first items of business (after oohing at Danielle and Adam's new house) was hanging out in the crib.
Then we had to dress Micah up in a Halloween costume that was several sizes too small for him. Obviously. But doesn't he make an adorable pea pod?
Mom gave each kid a squishy ball, which they loved.
Almost every kid took turns finding and sucking on Becca's pink toothbrush.
Awww. These two became good friends. And partners in crime.
I could not stop laughing at this cute hat of Micah's.
We went on a hike to Red Rocks.
The highlight for the kids were the cactuses and homemade lunchables.

Or trying to keep up with the big kids.
Then there were classic Wilson crafts: fruit loop necklaces and decorating Halloween cupcakes.

And since we hadn't eaten enough sweets, we had to celebrate Danielle's birthday with a Georgie ghost cake.
And by admiring Cindy's hair.
And the kids tried to introduce Micah to solids. I mean high fructose corn syrup solids. Ring pops, to be precise.
Here are the little monkeys.
Thanks for a great time, Danielle and Adam!

Hello and goodbye
Welcome to the newest member of the Woodbury family
(No, it's not baby #3 yet.)

And goodbye to a special part of the Williams family.
Our old mustard yellow crockpot, whose twin was featured in the background of Napoleon Dynamite's kitchen, bit the dust last night. (Mark is going to be so happy.)
Anyone else have any other important news?

Speaking of plungers
Krista said that one day she got home from work and Hunter and Dannika rushed to show her their latest trick. They took off all of Amy's clothes and used a plunger (clean) to pick her up.
At first Amy didn't mind, but then she got sick of it and would cry even when she heard the sound of the plunger. Here is a clip of Hunter being picked up at least a month after Amy's last plunger episode.
Here is Sage trying it out.
And the view two days later.
Always a party at the Nielsens.

Early Halloween
Becca, Mom and I spent the week before Halloween in Vegas and Arizona, but that didn't stop us from having a Halloween pre-show.
Here's Lily dressed up as Eve.

Micah dressed up as a girl. For five seconds. And it was obvious he didn't like it.

He liked being a pea more. Even though he was BUSTING out of it before he even got all the way in it.

Here's Eliza dressed up in her birthday suit. Or maybe pretending to be a Vegas showgirl.

Maybe Sage should have dressed up as a Photographer for Halloween, because although you can't tell it from this picture she took of herself...

She, surprisingly enough, captured this cute one of Jacob.

Look at Danielle dressed up as a pregnant woman. Ha. What a silly costume. Everyone knows taping a basketball to the stomach of a skinny lady doesn't make a pregnant woman.

Here's Cindy pretending to be a TV junkie. A very near-sighted TV junkie.

Here's Grandma, doing what she does best--being the "Favorite Grandma"

And here's Amy in one of the three pictures I took in Arizona. Costume-less, but cute anyway.

On our LONG car ride home from Arizona, Grandma spent the last hour and a half distracting Sage and Eliza with an elaborate story about them designing bird costumes for Halloween. Eliza decided that she had to have a bird costume for real. And once Sage saw Eliza's costume, she jumped on the fowl bandwagon. (We just didn't have any purple feathers so we taped my feather boa to her hoodie. One hour before trick-or-treating. Just in case you're wondering.)
