Thank you

When Brooke was born and having a few problems, I realized how much support we have from family, friends, and Heavenly Father. I really felt so grateful for everyone who helped watch Micah, or came to visit us at the hospital, or who helped after we came home, or who prayed for little Brookie when she was in the NICU. I know I probably can't thank everyone individually, but I really wanted to say thank you for everything you did to help us when we (especially hormonal me) were stressed and worried about Brooke. Love you all

Eliza's birthday party

Yesterday we had a "Tangled" birthday party for Eliza.  What that means is, we did all the same games as last year (Cut the Flour, Don't Eat Pete, Pinata, Decorate Cupcakes, Pin the Tail on the Donkey) with the tiniest "Tangled" variations (i.e. Pin the Nose on Flynn), so Eliza thought she got a whole new party!

Eliza's one request for her party was to "whack Flynn in the face" so we put Flynn on a pinata and let them go at it.  Suzy managed to capture Sage breaking the pinata open!

In the middle of the pinata time, Lily appeared sporting half of her birthday suit.  I just told her to sit down, so Grandma wouldn't notice.  Grandma did notice, and was the one who took her back inside for some coverage....but not before Suzy got some digital coverage of the moment.

Becca and Brooke, just a few days old, came to support Eliza.  Becca used her Cricut skils to rig an awesome face painting stencil of the Tangled sun, which the guests loved.  Next time I'll just have to make sure, in advance, that the bottle of paint I bought is really gold, and not white with three gold flecks.

Suzy worked tirelessly to make the party run smoothly.  In addition to getting some great shots, she had a hand in running all the games, and getting these annoying streamers out of our faces. Note to self: never host a party without inviting Suzy to run all the details.

Another Update on Brooke

The doctors have decided to keep Brooke at UVRMC.  It turns out she has an infection in one side of her nose.  They're moving her out of the NICU, but will keep her in the hospital for a while to make sure the infection clears up.

Becca and Jordan just called to say that Brooke is not doing well.  She's having trouble breathing through her nose.  The doctors are giving her oxygen and have sent her up to the NICU.  They're just trying to decide whether they should send her up to Primary Children's Hospital or leave her at UVRMC.

Please pray for Brooke and all the rest of the Tittelfitz family.  We love you!

Welcome Brooke Tittelfitz!!!!!

When Aunt Carolyn tried to call Janel this morning at 6:45am trying to give the "urgent" news that Rebecca Tittelfitz was about to have her baby, who knew that she was speaking truth?

Just minutes after that phone call, and a mere 50 minutes after the Tittelfitzes entered the hospital, Brooke Tittelfitz made her proud entrance into the world.

Hear ye, hear ye

Today Aunt Carolyn called me at 6:44am, 6:45am, and finally 8am (when I actually picked up) to tell me she had big news.  Rebecca Tittelfitz is about to have her baby.
And also Aunt Lou had fun on her trip.
And did I get to see the royal wedding, because it was beautiful.
So there's the Sunday morning scoop, for those of you who may not have answered your early morning call.

Highlights from Las Vegas Trip, Part I

Mom, Heather, and Suz went down to visit the Woodburys in Henderson last month. It was a blast. We had a fun 6 days spending quality time together and doing lots of art projects. :) Enjoy the photos and be jealous.

As you see, our itinerary was very full and very accomplished. Right as we pulled away to come back to Provo, Jacob started to get all sad when he suddenly remembered, "Hey, we never played wif cars, Mom! :("

Woodbury Family Photos

It was great weather. And so green. Again, be jealous.

Adam's project: the front yard. He spent a lot of time working on the sprinklers and replanting the grass while we were there. They even got a fake owl to scare away the pesky pigeons who would come munch on the grass seed. Jacob and Cindy were really good at scaring the pigeons away when the owl failed. Looking good, Adam!

Rebecca loved that owl with the spinning head. "Bird. Bird. Bird."

A very typical sight. Even though Jacob was almost always ahead, he always waited at the corner until Mom said he could cross the street! Good job listening to your mom, Jacob and Cindy.

Highlights from Las Vegas Trip, Part II

Food and Fun

Danielle and Mom made a scrumptious dinner, including Chili's Monterey Chicken and fancy asparagus with almonds.

Danielle and Mom were canning fiends the first couple days we were there!!! Huzzah for lots o' canned chicken. You go, girls!

Mother's Day breakfast spread: egg McMuffins and fresh fruit and yogurt dip! We tried to spoil Danielle and Mom for at least five minutes...before we got distracted...
