Rich was repaying the favor I did for him of cutting his hair. Ha ha. Actually I had to beg to be able to cut it, and being the gentleman that he is, he obliged.

I'm sad this picture is a little blurry, but I had to take a picture of Micah walking. When he was learning to walk he always wanted to hold Becca's right hand for support. If she gave him her left hand fingers, he would push them away and take her right hand! Now that he walks by himself he still always holds up his right hand, as if he were holding Becca's hand. It is so cute. And you should see him charge after Becca if she sets him down and dashes away for a moment's peace. He loves his mama. And, while I'm rambling about Micah, who is almost the birthday boy, so I guess he deserves all this attention, can you please take a look at those chunker thighs?
Becca left a stamped letter in our mailbox and Eliza thought it was for her, so she ripped into it. I figured that since it was already opened, we might as well take a picture of the super cute card Becca made. Thanks to Gmo for the Christmas Cricut!
Lily would trot around outside all day if she could. (As for Sage and Eliza, I had to put "exercise" on their job chart, because they would stay inside and color all day if they could.) Lily never wants to come in, even when her hands are freezing. This morning I opened the back door for something and she charged right out into the snow in her PJs. I didn't have shoes on so Sage and I were trying to coax her back in from inside but it did NOT work.
For a long time Sage had three goals: to learn how to snap, whistle, and tie her shoes. Now, with snapping down, Sage is certain that she has learned how to tie--a process that involves twisting the ribbons on my curtains into complicated messes that actually hold! When Becca was here yesterday, Sage asked for Becca to take her to her swimming lessons and be her "helper" and for me to go home. She was very proud of the special hairdo Becca gave her and I overheard her telling her friends about her "aunt named Becca with yellow hair" who gave her "this cool hairdo."
And, speaking of hairdos by Becca, does anyone have any pictures of Heather's concerto aria?

Woo woo, what a hottie, Rich! You look great with all the shag trimmed back! And the pictures of Lily in the snow and Micah with his hand out are classic. Too cute!
What a bunch of cuties! . . . and especially Richard with his new do!
Rich looks so sharp! And those shelves look awesome. Wow. I wish I were there to organize the boxes on them by height. Micah is so cute and it is so endearing how much he loves his mommy. I love that he walks with the right hand up! Also hilarious is that "exercise" has to be on Sage and Liza's job chart! The other day Jacob didn't want to ride his scooter/bike to the park; he said, "No thanks, Mom. I just want to get some exercise." And then he walked.
One thing left out is... Liza loving her job chart! What is wrong with this picture? JJ is the funnest mom ever, those girls even have fun doing their jobs (don't get me wrong, I always loved my Big Five.) Not to mention JJ making bomb delicious food every second you walk in her house, or buying nephews really awesome presents, and swedish fish, etc....
No more having fun without us! I was laughing at a lot of those pics. Lily in the snow was probably my favorite. When I went to visit with Amy, it was Liza who didn't want to go inside. Now it's the little Lilypad.
Rich, nice trim. Boys, nice shelves. Sage, nice twisting and recognizing Becca as the aunt with yellow hair. Doesn't she have brown hair these days? Micah, keep up the chunker legs.
