Hello and goodbye

Welcome to the newest member of the Woodbury family
(No, it's not baby #3 yet.)

And goodbye to a special part of the Williams family.
Our old mustard yellow crockpot, whose twin was featured in the background of Napoleon Dynamite's kitchen, bit the dust last night. (Mark is going to be so happy.)

Anyone else have any other important news?

Speaking of plungers

Krista said that one day she got home from work and Hunter and Dannika rushed to show her their latest trick. They took off all of Amy's clothes and used a plunger (clean) to pick her up.
At first Amy didn't mind, but then she got sick of it and would cry even when she heard the sound of the plunger. Here is a clip of Hunter being picked up at least a month after Amy's last plunger episode.

Here is Sage trying it out.

And the view two days later.
Always a party at the Nielsens.

Plunger anyone?

Early Halloween

Becca, Mom and I spent the week before Halloween in Vegas and Arizona, but that didn't stop us from having a Halloween pre-show.

Here's Lily dressed up as Eve.

Micah dressed up as a girl. For five seconds. And it was obvious he didn't like it.

He liked being a pea more. Even though he was BUSTING out of it before he even got all the way in it.

Here's Eliza dressed up in her birthday suit. Or maybe pretending to be a Vegas showgirl.

Maybe Sage should have dressed up as a Photographer for Halloween, because although you can't tell it from this picture she took of herself...

She, surprisingly enough, captured this cute one of Jacob.

Look at Danielle dressed up as a pregnant woman. Ha. What a silly costume. Everyone knows taping a basketball to the stomach of a skinny lady doesn't make a pregnant woman.

Here's Cindy pretending to be a TV junkie. A very near-sighted TV junkie.

Here's Grandma, doing what she does best--being the "Favorite Grandma"

And here's Amy in one of the three pictures I took in Arizona. Costume-less, but cute anyway.

On our LONG car ride home from Arizona, Grandma spent the last hour and a half distracting Sage and Eliza with an elaborate story about them designing bird costumes for Halloween. Eliza decided that she had to have a bird costume for real. And once Sage saw Eliza's costume, she jumped on the fowl bandwagon. (We just didn't have any purple feathers so we taped my feather boa to her hoodie. One hour before trick-or-treating. Just in case you're wondering.)

Make a wish

Conference Weekend

We had an eventful conference weekend, beginning a few days before when Eliza and her joy school friend made off with the Conference Bingo treats. I found them nibbling away at Smarties under the computer desk.
The unrepentant sugar tooth kids.

And speaking of naughtiness, here is Eliza after she gave herself and Lily "funny faces" with a green marker. (Don't mind the swim vest.)
Here is Lily doing her new trick to get a better view of Conference. Okay, it's not conference. But she likes to stand on the carseat to play the piano, too.
And here are the delicious goods Mom and Dad and the gang brought when they came up after attending the Saturday morning session in the Conference Center!

Look at the size of that peach!

And here are the delicious goods Mark and the girls made.

And to focus on the conference part of Conference Weekend, Mom started a new tradition where, following the final session, each person (youngest to oldest) stood up and told a story or message they liked from conference. Then they got to pick a candy bar from a big bowl of full-size candy bars. Sage was so excited about telling everyone her story about President Woodruff being inspired to move his wagon and then his mules. Eliza was so excited to get three little Kit Kats taped together. Thanks for the good idea, Mom.

Woodbury vignettes

Does this bring back a flashback, anyone?

And how about this big girl! I hear the ABC song floating out of her bedroom at night, in the car, etc.

Harvest time

Thanks to Spencer for the awesome pictures.

And thanks to me for this fuzzy picture.

And thanks to Dad for the orchard and garden goods.

And thanks to Heather for swearing to eat only veggies until the end of General Conference.
