As this is my first blog post ever, I will try to keep my remarks concise and pertinent to the issues at hand. It has been rumored by some that the Nielsens are undecided as to the name of their firstborn child. This is not so. We hereby declare that the first name of our little girl will be Lily. Any parties who wish to challenge this declaration may present their complaints to the complaint desk. Or they should just have their baby first. The end of my first blog. Birthright schmirthright. I contest Bryce's right to be posting on the Wilsonwatch (under Suzy's name), as well as his poorly chosen baby name. As one of our aunts pointed out over the birthing table 4 years ago, Lily Nielsen is a trochaic name, and those never sound very good. So there.
The middle name was going to be Janel until that last comment.
If, perchance, Tiny Tummy Krista goes into labor before me, with plans to STEAL the name of Lily, I might have to alert a certain relative (who is in town, I might remind you) of the location of UVRMC. You know, just like Krista did 4 years ago.
here's what you need to do (MyBen has suggested it several times for our family) you need to hold a baby name draft. everyone enter any possible names they might choose, then in assigned order, everyone gets to pick. That way there will be no stealing and no duplication.
I thought maybe you would go for Krista Jr. Whatever happened to choosing yourself?
Dad and I are staying out of the name battle, but how about Mohammeda? or Machmuda? They're very popular around here! --Mom & Dad
I think the baby should choose: the first sound she makes is obviously meant to be her name.
